About the Book


The book -- Become The Whole Healthy You! -- provides teenagers and preteeens with a solid foundation to establish good health habits for daily living. The teaching that eating food that has cholesterol will give you unhealthy cholesterol is wrong. Cholesterol is needed for cell membranes, healthy nerves, vitamin D production and the precursor to many other important hormones. It is eating processed oil and refined sugar that contributes most to creating chronic inflammation inside your body. Eating healthy fats strengthens your body and brain. Eating refined sugar damages your gut, brain, and all other body systems. Good quality sleep and movement contribute just as much as good nutrition to your whole body health.
