EMF: The Invisible Energy All Around You

Electromagnetic fields (EMFs) are connected to electric and magnetic energy. Electromagnetic waves carry energy through space in different wavelengths and frequencies.
Your eyes can see only a small part of this energy, called visible light. The different wavelengths and frequencies of visible light appear to us as different colors.
Above is an illustration of other electromagnetic frequencies that our eyes cannot see. These include radio waves, microwaves, infrared, and ultraviolet radiation. Although you cannot see them, they are real forms of electromagnetic energy.
Sound is different from light. Sound travels as vibrations through air, water, and other materials. The number of vibrations per second is called frequency. Just as there are electromagnetic waves you cannot see, there are sound frequencies you cannot hear.
The Sun gives us visible light, infrared energy that we feel as warmth, and ultraviolet radiation that we cannot see. Invisible does not mean nonexistent!
Morning sunlight helps set your body's internal clock, which helps regulate your sleep and wake cycle. Getting natural light during the day and keeping your sleeping environment dark at night can support healthy sleep.
Many manmade EMFs are damaging to your cells. Because you are surrounded by manmade electronic EMFs during the day, you do not want EMF exposure while you sleep. You can create a healthy habit by keeping your phone out of your bedroom while sleeping.
Earth also has a natural magnetic field, and nature surrounds us with many forms of energy. Walking barefoot on grass or sand, swimming in the ocean, gardening, or exploring a forest can help you connect with nature and enjoy its many benefits. Direct contact with the ground provides special healing benefits through electromagnetic pulses (PEMFs).
Sunlight helps plants grow, and healthy soil and water help sustain life. Nature offers us so much:
sunlight above us, the ground beneath us, and the water around us. By spending time outdoors, enjoying natural daylight, and respecting our body's need for sleep, we can make thoughtful choices that support our overall health.
Become The Whole Healthy You!
